Time to go beyond the typical Lagrange elements. Ansys LS-DYNA has a rich set of advanced element technologies that apply to fluids, large deformation, ballistics, fracture, particles, and explosions. Going by names such as ALE, DEM, EFG, SPH, SPG, peridynamics, we will explore many of these technologies and the physics to which they are most applicable.
